The old roof came off, the frame was inspected and packed where it needed it, new sarking went down, and the sheets were run in Monument® - a deep charcoal drawn from the dark volcanic rock along Australia's southern coastline. On a roofline this broad, it settles the house into its surrounds rather than lifting it off them. Ridge capping, barge and flashings all carry the same tone, so the roof reads as one surface instead of a set of parts.
